Parisian night-owls have chosen their home next to the Louvre, beneath the arcades of the luxurious rue de Rivoli. Jean Roach, pope of the night, conceived this area where all excess comes together: 11,000 sq. ft. illuminated with neon lights, the 13 ft. long bar encircled by magnums. Straight benches and black lacquered tables are there in answer to the circular podium studded with light, dominated by the glass-fronted mezzanine of the adjoining restaurant.
