Victoria Miro has been a mainstay on the London art scene since she opened her first gallery in Mayfair in 1985. Her self-named gallery is now based between Islington and Hoxton and has had a re-think courtesy of Claudio Silvestrin, with Michael Drain Architects in 2006. Their renovations are worth a visit in themselves, providing a stunning space from which to view the eclectic array of art.
