Urban Tribe belongs to two Shanghai designers who studied traditional handicrafts in remote regions of China and found inspiration in the originality of the materials, colors, patterns, and stitches. Gao Ping designs practical minimalist clothing that can be easily combined to create different looks. Jasmine Mu designs jewelry and hand-thrown tea sets, which are used to serve tea and finger foods to patrons in the garden behind the boutique.
