Of the more than 50 flea markets throughout Berlin, this was the first. Since 1973, vendors have been gathering between Tiergarten and the Einsteinufer to sell their eclectic selection of fur coats, porcelain dolls, silver cutlery, oil paintings, and antiquities—there’s no shortage of trinkets here. More than 200 of them gather here every Sunday, most of which are professionals. Don’t let this discourage you from bargaining, though! The adjoining art and crafts market is also worth a visit.
