Built by Gabriel von Seidl and dedicated in 1900, the House of Artists originally served as a clubhouse to the artists surrounding “Artist Prince” Franz von Lenbach. Since the restaurant took over the upper floor in April 2010 and chef Max Lechner started serving meat, fish, and vegetables from the grill, it has turned into the perfect place for a drink at sunset. If it gets too chilly on the terrace you can go inside to feast your eyes on Nitzan Cohen’s interior design.
