Local before arrival
Found in the heart of town at the southern end of Calwer Street, and open from dawn until way past dusk, The Gardener’s Nosh is for early birds and night owls alike. Breakfast is served all day and might include Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, or poached eggs with rye sourdough and avocado (it’s all organic). Later, there’s afternoon tea, and at night, dinner and cocktails. This is a new venture for Pascal Schwer and Philipp Ruof of Le Pastis – the Heusteig quarter restaurant set in a vaulted cellar – and the realization of their long-held dream to have a restaurant where guests can feast, snack, sip and nibble whenever they choose. Their motto? “From early to late, everything fresh.“
