Local before arrival
In early 2009, The Dorchester’s spa was reopened following a lavish renovation by the design team Fox Linton Associates. These creative minds grabbed the British style of the hotel with its glamorous Art deco interior from the 1930s and gave the whole thing a unique, up-to-date twist. The central focus of attention in the spa, with its nine generously sized, soundproofed treatment rooms, is the sweeping candelabra made from South Pacific pearls.
