Karin Kreis Blaschke’s shop is like a chamber of wonders. “I’ve seen 80-year-olds turn into children,” says the enthusiastic collector, for whom every item on the shelves is a favorite. She is particularly enamored by the old tin toys and classroom maps from various decades. Rare finds also include movie posters from the GDR—for some nostalgic, for others exotic. You can also find both refurbished and new pieces of furniture from Holzwerk-Flingern, a woodwork shop whose workshop is in the rear courtyard of the building.
