Shintori is pure Zen. You start to feel it as you walk through a small bamboo garden to the Japanese restaurant. Set in a former warehouse, the high ceilings, rough concrete walls, and minimalist furnishings create a pleasing backdrop to the restaurant’s creative cuisine. The open kitchen, located in the center of the space at a slight elevation, draws the eye and allows guests in the front row and balconies to watch the chefs prepare the food.
