Local before arrival
The architectural language of the remarkable east side of this Dominican church is strongly influenced by Lombardian Renaissance style. None other than Donato Bramante designed the imposing central tower and the beautiful cloister. The adjoining monastery complex houses the world-famous fresco “The Last Supper” by Leonardo da Vinci which depicts the scene when Jesus tells his disciples that one of them would betray him.
