Local before arrival
Housed in a former monastery from the 16th century, this science and technology museum has over 14,000 objects on exhibit. At the heart of the museum’s collection are machine models based on Leonardo da Vinci’s drawings. These models clearly demonstrate just how far ahead of his time this universal genius was. In exhibitions and regular workshops, the museum tackles more current topics such as food, outer space, and water as an element.
