Berlin is known for its night clubs at least as much as it is for its currywurst, so it was just a matter of time until club scene protagonists decided to mix things up in the world of gastronomy. With their restaurant concept, the operators of the established Sage Club have added an unusual twist to the sophisticated cuisine available in Berlin. With house classics such as beef tartare or Wiener Schnitzel, eccentric pizzas, and a changing evening menu influenced by haute cuisine, Sage Restaurant is as diverse as its clientele. A colorful mixture of people from the worlds of art, design, and media gather to dine in this formerly industrial brick building, and the atmosphere is casual. The clear highlight in the summer is the outdoor area directly along the Spree River, which offers a beach bar, a terrace with a barbeque, and a DJ playing music.
