You have to pay attention to the street number, otherwise you’ll walk right past the inconspicuous sign—which would be a shame, because this place is an insider’s tip. It feels as if Rote Bar is straight out of an old James Bond movie: The red light is so dim that you can barely read the menu. By contrast, the extremely polite bartender wears a brilliant white jacket as he serves outstanding cocktails. It is a setting framed by retro wallpaper, oil paintings, chansons, and an incredible view of the Main River. Not to be missed!
