Live your best dolce vita and arrive at Portofino by boat: the restaurant has six landing spots in Thalwil harbor. Then, it’s just a few steps from the dock to the restaurant, which is housed in a glass pavilion that on warm days opens out into a lush garden, and every day boasts sweeping views of Lake Zurich. Stage designer Raphael Otto has created an interior that combines elements from the Italian golden age and Miami Vice, while Swiss-American rock musician turned chef Andrew Clayton cooks up Italian recipes just like Mamma’s: potato pizza from the wood-burning stove, Nonna's gnocchi, and Filetto di Manzo.
