You don’t come to the Alden, the smallest five-star hotel in Zurich, to spend the night – you come to live. The suites start at 645 sq. ft., but the executive suites are up to 1076 sq. ft.. The hotel has maintained some of the 1895 building’s original wood floors and splendid stuccoed ceilings, which have been combined with elegant, mostly natural-tone furniture. The restaurant received 13 points from Gault-Millau for its classic Swiss meals with Mediterranean touches.
