The name says it all: Orange characterizes this hotel’s appearance down to the smallest detail—from the lighting in the bathrooms to the trash cans to the cover plates of the power outlets. Housed in a former barracks, the hotel also emphasizes environmental friendliness: Solar panels, for example, provide hot water. Breakfast—and, upon request, lunch and dinner—is served on the roof where diners can enjoy a view of the dome of St. Peters.
