Looking for inspiration but don’t have the time? Then a visit through the eight floors of the MAS (Museum aan de Stroom) is in order. A visit is a veritable trip through time, with glimpses into the city’s fascinating history, made all the more colourful by its harbour and the ships that would lay anchor here. Of course, no visit would be complete without a quick detour to the rooftop of the red sandstone building. 65 metres high, it’s the best spot in the city for panoramic views. The neighbourhood was most known for its infamous red-light milieu just a few years ago.
