None other than Philippe Starck was responsible for Mama Shelter’s interior design. The concept of the entire hotel is rich in details. Cartoon masks hang from the bedside lamp shades—guests can photograph themselves wearing them and then upload their photos to the hotel’s own “mask gallery.” If you’re bored in the evening (which is unlikely), you can watch current movies in bed for free. The restaurant’s French-Turkish cuisine pays homage to the hotel group’s native country.
