Local before arrival
This furniture store in Zurich’s picturesque old town is an ode to craftsmanship and aesthetics. Only very special products make it onto the minimalist shelves of the store. Almost arranged like in a museum, each item gets its “moment” and, on request, a background story that pays tribute to the efforts and passion of its creator. The spectrum ranges from handmade ceramics to mouth-blown glass to expertly bound brushes and brooms. Many pieces are unique, and above all, it is their small imperfections that add to their value and give these supposedly industrial products that “special something.”
