Some of the 168 rooms at Les Suites Orient offer a bathtub with a view—and what a view! Opened in the spring of 2011, the boutique hotel features impressive panoramic perspectives. One side looks to the futuristic Bund, the other to the low-rise old town around Yu Garden. The interior design is reserved and rectilinear with wood paneling and elegant earthtones, creating for its guests a comfortable island of peace in action-filled Shanghai.
