Le Ballroom is the closest thing in Paris to a 1930s Chicago speakeasy. Dark, shadowy and somewhat conspiratorial. A narrow spiral stairway lit with small candles leads you to the basement where a series of rooms in which the lights are low and the ceilings even lower, giving it an intimate, cozy atmosphere. There are just eight cocktails on the menu here—if you’re uncertain, you should let yourself be guided by the bartender’s expert advice.
