The bold blue and curved form of the façade immediately signals that this 18-room establishment isn’t your conventional hotel. The inside is bright and filled with straight lines. You reach the rooms, which are all located in a flat addition, through a birch grove with 160 trees that functions as a place of meditation – which, in summer, becomes a sound garden. Even the kitchen fits into the overall concept: It follows the principles of the slow-food movement and includes vegetarian offerings.
