Following the renovation and redesign of the Gramercy Park Hotel, hotelier Ian Schrager brought modern glamour back to the once-famous gem of the 1920s: The fabrics are thick and lush, the furniture is oversized and mysterious, the tile is a Moroccan import, and the decorative accents are bold and unique. Adding to this eclectic aesthetic are the Rose and Jade bars that double as galleries for paintings by the likes of Warhol and Basquiat.
