Local before arrival
Although the sign on the door reads “Temple” and the store has “Gallery” in its name, this is a shoe shop. But what a shoe shop! Here, shoes are finally presented in a manner worthy of them—in, for example, crystal balls hanging from the ceiling so they seem to be floating freely above the heads of visitors. The high heels are very much worthy of their name and, alongside the Pop Art on the walls, give the store a blithely cool charisma.
