One of the most famous and largest relics from the time of Berlin’s division into East and West is the longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall. This 4,318-ft.-long segment extending from the Ostbahnhof to the Oberbaumbrücke forms the world’s longest open-air gallery. Since its restoration in 2009, a majority of the artwork dating from 1990 when the gallery was first established have been repainted by the original artists at their same locations.
