Local before arrival
Architects Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu opened Design Republic’s flagship store in a historic brick building. Magnificent chandeliers, ornate crystal glassware, and minimalist chairs are displayed on three floors in an ambience that feels like a museum. To demonstrate the use of its high-end merchandise in everyday situations, Design Republic established a commune in the same building complex by adding a tapas bar, a flower shop, and a bookstore.
