Local before arrival
Many of KIN’s employees are DJs. This is not particularly surprising, since the man behind KIN, Gary Wang, also owns a club called The Shelter. People go to his stylish streetwear shop for sneakers, T-shirts, and records. Or to eat and hang out. After all, KIN is associated with The Grumpy Pig restaurant, located in the patio. Events are held here regularly, and the place also has a DJ practice room. Music, food, and hip-hop culture go together very well under the glass roof.
