Local before arrival
A charitable organization, C/O Berlin is financed exclusively by admission fees and donations. Founded in 2000 to give photography a platform in Berlin, it is now one of the most influential institutions of its kind. Since 2014, C/O Berlin has been housed in the renovated Amerika Haus, where up to four exhibitions are on display in its 25,000 sq. ft. of space at a given time. Acclaimed photographers such as Peter Lindbergh, Annie Leibovitz and Sabstião Salgado have all exhibited their work here. The organisation also helps give aspiring talents a platform to showcase their work.
