This café without a name (çay bahçesi means tea garden) is located directly on the Bosphorus, not far from Dolmabahçe Palace, the Baroque residence of the Sultans. Strictly speaking, it is simply a small tea kitchen on the riverbank with plastic chairs and tables that remain outside year round, regardless of the weather. The view, the horns blasting on the ferries, the gulls screaming, and the sea breeze will entice you to linger here, daydreaming—all of which will more than compensate for the modest location.
