Local before arrival
For the flagship store and headquarters of the luxury label Asprey, Foster + Partners have created an entire complex, combining the building of the store itself and its cast-iron façade from the 19th Century with five further houses behind, all with protected monument status. The rear courtyard has been covered with a filigree structure in glass and steel, accessorised by a striking spiral staircase. The historic interior space was created by interior designer David Mlinaric.
