It was a long, but worthwhile way from the makeshift “Künstlerheim Luise” (artist home Luise) of the era after the fall of the Berlin wall to today’s hotel with almost 50 rooms and an in-house art gallery. What’s so special about the “sleep over gallery”? How about the fact that regardless of whether you reside on the main floor, in the attic, or in a standard room, every room is designed true to the concept of another renowned artist. The city palace from 1825 and its outbuilding are located in the middle of the city center. Government district, Brandenburger Tor, Tiergarten, and Friedrichstraße are just around the corner.
