A visit to the Anne Frank House will leave no one unmoved. During World War II, the hidden rooms at the rear of this building on Prinsengracht housed the Jewish girl from Frankfurt am Main, along with her family, for two years. Anne’s diary from that time has become world famous. Every year, about a million visitors come to the museum, which provides a vivid account of Anne’s story and that of the seven others who took refuge there, and features a reconstruction of their hiding place.
