This tour follows Carol Reed’s Oscar-winning thriller, filmed in Vienna in 1948. The tour starts by descending the original film steps into Vienna’s underworld. Thanks to modern projection and lighting technology, you encounter the channel diggers, film agents, smugglers and spies, and follow in the footsteps of Orson Welles, aka Harry Lime. To get into the right mood, the original version of the film is shown every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday in Vienna’s Burg Kino.
