XANTENER ECK
A simple corner pub casts its feathers to become a veritable treasure trove of Ku’damm. Once a gathering place for Nazi officers and spies from the East and the West during the Cold War, today cozily hospitable and a popular venue amongst artists and politicians with an inclination towards heavy cuisine. This was once the regular dining spot for the late Chancellor Kohl and bon vivant Rolf Eden. A rampart for authentic Berlin dining with a dozen types of beer on tap and wildly popular with Chinese investors. The greatest fan is perhaps a mayor from the Lower Rhine—every second resident of Xanten has been here.
