A world-renowned museum with collections from the periods of 1885–1945. Visitors can work their way through 120,000 objects and relics all the way from the beginnings of the Industrial Revolution to World War II. The focus here is Europe: There are bountiful collections from the British Arts and Crafts Movement, as well as many pieces of Art Nouveau. There is also a reasonable amount of American industrial design and war and political propaganda. The museum essentially displays the influence of art and design in the modern world.
