Local before arrival
This gourmet temple sits right beside one of the city’s many canals in a renovated storehouse in the center of the historic Speicherstadt district. The kitchen’s concept reflects its surroundings, where traditional Hamburg delicacies are newly interpreted. The menus changes with the season but there are some classics, like the beef tartar, which is prepared at the table. The meat all comes from local farms and the other products come from carefully selected suppliers, which is reflected in the menu, where diners can see exactly where their cheese comes from.
