Local before arrival
The Miniatur Wunderland in the Hafencity is the largest model railroad exhibit in the world. It is also one of Hamburg’s most popular tourist attractions for families. Some locals keep returning, as new areas of the world are constructed constantly. So far more than 1,000 trains and about 300,000 tiny figurines inhabit the different areas. It is amazing how much attention has been put into every little detail. In order to avoid long waiting times, advanced booking is recommended.
