São Paulo’s foodies know this restaurant well. It was located in the Centro area for a long time, but then it was forced out by gentrification. Although the new location offers different dishes, it has retained head chef Mara Salles’ Brazilian cuisine. Only time will tell if the old flair has survived, but the same old cheerfulness is already apparent. Try the moqueca, a Brazilian fish stew, or the compota de maracujá e suspiros de jatobá, a compote made from rainforest fruit.
