Each time Nadia Challah and Giorgios Pachiadakis visited their home in Greece they brought back fresh olives, oil, and wine for their friends – soon it seemed natural to bring back a little more, and Taste Greece was born. They now supply delis and restaurants with imported specialties, and three times a week their warehouse in trendy Unterbilk is open to the public: going there is a bit like taking a gourmet trip to Greece without having to get on a plane. Goods include everything from first-class olive oils to rare caper leaves – a special gift for a keen cook.
