Shala Andishmand brought back the idea for her cupcake catering business from a trip to Los Angeles. Thanks to her feeling for trends and clear ideas regarding quality, Düsseldorf’s Bilk district is now one gastronomical attraction richer. The most important thing for her was that the sweet tartlets and cakes not only look good, but also taste great—which has definitely been achieved. Instead of incredibly sweet buttercream, as with many other confectioners, Shalas creations charm the tastebuds with their balanced combinations of cream cheese or fruits. Even Beyoncé, the Queen of Pop, has tasted these cakes and sung their praises.
