Local before arrival
Over the years, the ground floor of this fairytale house has been home to a variety of establishments. People have come here to listen to jazz, enjoy à la carte cooking, and even smoke hookah. In September 2013, socialite Holger Charak made his dream of opening a retro-style, smoker-friendly bar come true: Odds and ends and plush fabrics juxtaposed against exposed brick walls, slightly risqué burlesque photos, enchanting old love letters, and a gramophone remind of a time long gone. It’s a perfect yet slightly different hideaway for after-work drinks.
