Local before arrival
The Hamburg branch opened in 1996 as the first of four design department stores in various German and Austrian cities. In the century-old building of a former malt factory, there are 28 shops grouped in galleries on five stories around the glass-roofed atrium. These shops offer only internationally-renowned top furnishing and design brands, such as B&B Italia and Cassina, but also a selection of classics by Walter Knoll and Vitra, amongst others.
