The windowed front of this ceramic-clad building looks as if J. Mayer H. architects had poured the windows over it. Looking at this office building, it is easy to see that the Berlin architect had already had a successful career in design. Its spectacular back is a slim sculpture just 6 ft. wide that rises up above the eaves of the neighboring buildings of the Katharinenfleet; it has thus positioned itself prominently on the skyline of the Hamburg old city since 2009.
