The conductor and violinist Joji Hattori, born in Japan and raised in Austria, has conquered the Viennese culinary scene with his restaurant that opened in 2015 amidst great fanfare. Under the direction of chef Takumi Murase, modern Japanese cuisine of the highest order is served—for example carpaccio of Wagyu beef or contemporary sushi such as gilthead seabream with mango chutney or scallops with truffle miso. A multitude of vegan options complete the menu.
