The Seven Grand pays homage to Irish pubs, cigars paired with whisky, a game of pool among men, illegal bars of the Prohibition-era—and somehow to hunting lodges, too. And yet these things play second fiddle to the main event: whiskey (known as the water of life), which occupies the place of honor in this establishment. The whiskey menu is 17 pages long, and the spirits served over the well polished bar come from the traditional distilling regions, and also from Japan and India.
