Actress and comedian Jennifer Mulinde-Schmid, alias “Black Heidi,” is one of the hosts of this Swiss enclave in Kreuzberg. Her white-haired counterpart has imported not only Appenzell beer, but also a massive cowbell. As a team, they are attracting more and more devotees of cheese—as well as an array of German celebrities. The menu is brimming with every conceivable variation of “Röschti” (potato fritters) and other Swiss culinary delights—all freshly prepared. The days of keeping this place a secret are numbered!
