Local before arrival
Sala São Paulo is Brazil’s most important concert hall and home to the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra. The building was a railway station before a multi-million-dollar refurbishment gave the concert hall acoustics and interior décor rivaling Vienna’s historicist Musikvereinssaal. The concert calendar features seasonal concertos, sonatas, operas, solo performances, symphonies, and even international theater plays, so there is always something new to see.
