The construction of the Radisson posed a number of challenges to architects Jeremy King and Riccardo Roselli when ancient Roman relics were found on the site shortly before work was to begin. The architects quickly incorporated these relics into their minimalistic design, which was carried into the 232 rooms as well. To make the rooms as spacious as possible, they created an open bedroom/bathroom design. Colored lights under the windows illuminate the hotel’s façade at night.
