Local before arrival
The Plaça Reial square radiates pure Mediterranean charm: fully enclosed and surrounded by arcades, featuring palm trees and the Three Graces Fountain. In 1895 the square was constructed in the classical style and today it is a good location for restaurants, bars, clubs, which attract many native guests and tourists in the evenings. During the days things are more peaceful in the cafés. This is a good opportunity to relax and admire some of the early works of Gaudí; the street lights adorned with helmets.
