Artist and design star Piet Hein Eek, whose work can be seen at the New York MoMA, usually makes furniture from matured wood. But Frankfurt restaurateur Thomas Klüber asked him to create the interior for this extravagant three-story cube in the Ruhrorter shipyard. Eek took up the challenge and turned this industrial historical landmark into a destination restaurant, the likes of which hadn't been seen before. The architecture is spectacular, the location phenomenal, and the look unique.
